i know that the caddy has a differnt rear suspensio but im wondering if suspension from a rocco is going to work on a rabbit and between the different mkIs.

no i dont think they are any different. ive heard that the rocco strut mounts lower the front a hair more than the rabbit ones, but not sure how legit that is. to the best of my knowledge they are pretty much identical

All the MkI and rocco (both MkI and II) have the same upper strut bearing/spring hat part numbers.
