I would take the beamer... only because it comes with a manual. And as with any high performance car, I want control damnit!

The RS6 is pretty damn nice.
But, having driven both the A6 2.7t 6-speed and various 5-series models, including the 540 6-speed, I think the M5 would still be more of a drivers car.
I could probably live with an Auto box, but really I would want the manual in a car with that much performance.
The Quattro is a major benefit, in the rain. But, your not taking this RS6 to Tahoe in the winter, it will just get dirty and it's not worth it. In addition if you own this car you probably own an SUV of some type to drive to the snow.
Tough call you know? I wish I had to make that decision.

I voted RS6, but I think I would take either one. I voted RS6 just because it's rarer, so it has the brag factor. I would have to drive them both, though. Just because they have a high price tag doesn't mean they are a good fit for me. (I love my Passat, thank you.)

Tough call, would most likely go with the RS6.....the current 5 series styling is wearing thin, the A6 still looks fresh. Not to mention the RS6 looks completely badass.

Wow, I can't believe so many people voted for the RS6. The M5 is the baddest sedan in the world, there's no way I would pick a RS6 over the M5. I'm a sucker for V8's, 6 speed manuals, and RWD. I would take RWD over quattro any day of the week.
