Right under the rain tray next to the ecu, it's a sensor for what?

That is the ambient temp switch, its inline with the a/c pressure switch, then goes to the ECU and then to the FCU. Its purpose as mentioned to me is to keep the engine from overheating when you use a/c.
This is not related to the ambient temp switch on your MFA that reads outside temps.

It is the A/C Ambient air temperature sensor. It controls when the AC compressor will kick in. For example, if it is below 55 degrees, it won't allow the compessor to turn on. I got rid of mine when I removed the AC. http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif
