Can't tell ya about the coolant, but that's normal oil temp. You using a cold weather oil like 10W-30? Should be fine.

I use to run 220-230 oil temp before I put in the low-temp thermostat and fan switch

well that'll make your car run cooler, isn't that what you wanted? Personally, I think I'd wanna run a low temp fan switch and a high temp thermostat. Motors do run best (most efficiently) when they're kinda hot, but you want to be sure the cooling system is ready to do its thing as soon as it's needed then. Actually, what are the stock temp cutoffs for the fan and t'stat and what are the options out there? I see a lot of people referring to "high" and "low," but I'm used to BMWs where we actually talk about 82, 91 (Celsius) degree t'stats and such.

I have a 71c thermostat and 85c fan switch
I am asking if i am running too cool because I know cars have a normal optimal temp which they produce the correct hp, and I just want to make sure i am not too cool.
