Does anyone have the AMS chip for their California model 8V...... is it any good? What other options for chips are there for the Cali model.

I've got it. It won't throw you back in your seat, but I can feel the extra 10hp here and there.

The AMS chip is better than no chip. I've had one for the past 5 years or so with no complaints.
Your only other option is a Garrett chip, Their website claims they make a chip for 023 ecu's (CA Model Digi 1 cars)

Well good to hear there were no complaints, now I'm just curious... how much do you think the ams chip is worth?
Re: AMS chip for 8V California model? (snowj7)

mine was only $150 when I got it 5 years ago. The CA Digi 1 chips are easier to install than the Digi 2 ones in that they're just plug and play and dont need to be soldered. If you're buying used I wouldnt pay more than $100.
I might actually have mine for sale in a month or so
