that guy is an idiot.....but I do know of a guy (car is in the 1.8t challege) that swapped out the turbo for a charger

Man! I want a supercharger for my 1.8T

Anyhow there is one guy from Boston I believe, with an A4 who has a Paxton charger on his 1.8t..um 1.8s..i guess. And PES had a 1.8S passat a while ago...

Well, seeing how a turbocharger is, in technical terms, a specific style of a supercharger, then it's not "technically" incorrect.

That's correct. A turbo is actually a turbine driven supercharger.
