Does this trans use a 16v or 8v style clutch disc?
I know this is a really dumb question but I might have to buy the clutch before I buy the transmission, and I dont want to get the wrong one.

if its out of an a3 i heard it was a straight swap to the 16v motors except for the fact that the plug for the backup is different. im assuming it uses as a 16v clutch disc.

yep, 16V style. Be careful of which flywheel you use though (A2, early A3 vs. late A3)
