Hey guys and gals,
I am looking for a decently priced dead pedal for my MKIV Jetta. I know there are many out there! Can you please post any pics you have or have seen of dead pedals, links, prices and places that sell them within Canada.
Thanks a lot!!! http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif
I absolutely love this dead pedal!! Unfortunately it costs $290CAD which is just a little over my expectation for a dead pedal
Anyone know of places withing the GTA that sell dead pedals...just so I can see first hand. The 25th ani one is reallly nice lookin but still a bit expensive for my liking

VWVilla had a TT dead pedal in their display case the last time I was there... you could check your local vw or audi dealer I guess.

Cool! I'll have to call them. Does anyone know the part number for the TT dead pedal?
quote:

Oh yeah, Oettinger.
I thought the Oettinger set(including dead pedal) was like $500 CDN?
I love Oettinger stuff. My door pins are Oettinger.

That's about right. I called BBR sportsline and was quoted 390 for the Oettinger dead pedal!!!
To anyone with TT dead pedal knowledge....it is really the much of a PITA toi install. I just contacted my local dealer to inquire about the part and they said that MKIV owner on a repeated basis have purchased and then returned the pedal stating that it is too diificult to install and does not fit.
Just wondering.....what type torx screwdrivier do you use to unscrew the bolt in the stock valence? The space is pretty tight so a regular tool will doubtable work unless you remove the dash panel...which I don't want to do! http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif Anyone?
These are VERY simple to install. I don't know what the dealer is taking about. If your still having trouble with the Audi TT pedal & are in the Orangeville area I could install it for you. Cost wise would be one cold Draught of Kieths
I got my door pins at BBR for I think $45.
BBR has a sweet showroom, lots of Oettinger and APR stuff. Everything from stickers to turbo's.
Last time I was there, they had a silver, 2000 GTI with the full Oettinger body kit in the showroom, very solid.
I highly recommend going there at the least to see this stuff, too bad it's so expensive.
Rob
Expensive is not even close.......crazy expensive is more like it. I called asking for prices on (1) Oettinger door sills: was quoted $400, and (2) Oettinger Dead Pedal: was quoted $370
No joke! But nevertheless I may go by just to chk to the place out. What are the hours, weekend open?
