My jetta has approx 100k and has recently developed a rough idle. Prior to the poor idling, I did a tune up as well as cleaned TB and MAF. No CEL and no codes stored. The problem first showed up about a week after I did the tune up. The weird part about it is the idle stays normal but the car has sporatic tremors that are felt through the whole car. It's not the same feeling as a misfire (have had them before) On it's worst day I saw about a 1 inch movement of the engine while it was idling. Could I have broken the MAF when I cleaned it? I used CRC Brakeleen. Is there anyway to test the MAF to see if it's working properly?
