Another ISV re-route question/Boost leak?

543 Views 6 Replies 5 Participants Last post by  mygeeseess
Well I out my reroute on last night. Wow, what a difference. Before I would accelerate reasonably well then at about 4K it would be like a kick in the ass and I'd fly. When shifting I'd be thrown forward every I pushed the clutch.
Now the power is available all the rpm range and my neck doesn't break when I shift.
Only question is this. When we put Chris' (PoweredbyG60) re-route on the pshhht sound between shifts turned into a loud whistle. It's actually hilarious. I can hear him leave his driveway on his way to my place, about a block away.
So, who's is right? I have a little pshht and he has a siren. I remember reading once there should be no blow off sound between shifts.
Sorry for the length. TIA

I'm running a Neuspeed P-Flo and he has the BBM Howitzer. You think the filter?

Explain why you asked about the fileters? PLEASE!
I am interested in what you have to say.

whistle = boost leak. Check the condition of the idle screw on the TB.. If it sounds really funny, thats probably the culprit.

Just changed out the TB screw o-ring recently. It wasn't leaking but it was flattened. Any other ideas?
