Your head unit should have a seperate lead for a power antenna. Check the manual.

I hooked mine up to the remote turn-on lead coming out of the deck. Usually this is used for turning on amps when the deck powers up, but it works just as well turning on the antenna's amplifier. You may want to relay this depending on how many devices you're powering.. actually, just to be safe, relay it anyways. Relays are cheap, head units are not
