Bigg J that was at the Fat Man Feast at Justins house in N. PHX works at Rockford and does that kinda stuff on the side outta his garage. He's the guy thats bald and works out, the poor imitation of Mr Clean
No just a nice removeable false floor with an amp mount that fits
under the stock trunk cover.
JL's solution is to use foam offset blocks to raise the trunk floor.
I find this cheap and effective, but highly inelegant.
A proper false floor will allow me to mount the amp inside it and
leave room for future expansion when the time comes to remove
the monsoon altogether.
Re: Any Audio installers out there? (Vanilla_Coke)
Well you said elegant, unless your just looking for MDF panels, covered in carpet... Which you could easily do yourself
That IS all I'm looking for. I could do it myself if I had the time, tools, and
workspace (which I don't). I don't even need it covered in carpet, I need it
to fit properly under the stock trunk cover.
I said I wanted something more elegant than just foam offset blocks, not
necessarily something show-worthy.
You seem awfully interested, why don't you send me your estimate for this
install via IM. Maybe I can relax my requirements in order to get this done
in a timely manner.
