Re: Any H/U's read DVD-R's yet? (-YZ-)

None that I know of (that play MP3s) and I bet it will be awhile because companies still want to sell accessories for their headunits like CD/MP3-Changers and hard-drive based MP3 Players like Kenwood's Music Keg. They make a lot of money off of those type of items and if you can burn over 1200-1500 songs on a single DVD doubt there will be much of a market for a $300 changer or a $500 'Music Keg'.
That said...I would love to have a headunit that can play MP3's from a DVD!

not regular decks but mobile video decks like the pioneer avhp7500dvd, eclipse av???? (their newest touch screen one.), and any deck that says dvd audio.
That is true...they play DVD audio but that is different from MP3s. Some of those DVD players can also play MP3s but only from CD-R media not DVD.
