no kidden, they are like the cheapest out there... but on the other handi used to rock the kumho 711's and they were way better than other tires that were almost double the price. anybody else ever use the hancook ventus?

i've got them. Same size that you're going to be getting also. I've had them for about 12K miles and iv'e still got a shyte load of tread left. I don't do burn-outs, but i take corners fairly fast. They grip nicely and have excellent wet traction. They're a very good all around tire. Long tread life, fairly inexpensive, decent performance. I'm probably going to be getting them again..in about 15K when they finally wear out.

I've had the same tires on for 3-4K, handle great, especially in the rain. Don't know about tread wear yet but so for they seem like a great tire for the price.

If you're looking for an amazing tire priced like a normal tire ... I would definitely go with the Kumho Ecsta MX. They compete with tires twice their price, namely the Bridgestone S-03 and Eagle F1 GS-D3. The Kumho's won't be as sick as the other two but will definitely keep up in the dry. For the price they're AMAZING.

I had a set of Hankook VENTUS Plus on my Jetta and they lasted me a summer and a half. They were great tires, but they don't compare to the MX.
Hope that helps!

The MX is a lot stickier than the 711 or 712s too! My dad has the 712s on his BMW, and I find them okay, about the same as the Ventus Plus, maybe a little less sticky.
