so i have a 05 gti 1.8t. when ever i get on it over 50mph the e-brake light lights up and starts blinking and at the same time the car starts beeping. i think its electrical but dont want to take it to the dealer if i dont have to. please some one help!

could be a bad switch or something. Mine does the same thing but Im getting it fixed by a local mechanic.

im pretty sure it means you need to at break fulid to your resivor, correct me if im wrong

i kno ur probably not getting a CEL, but if you can get someone with a vag-com, they're might be some codes loose....

first guess would be brakes.... but it's still under warrenty right? So take it in, make them fix it
