I decided that Im gonna get new tires for the summer. These Michelins just dont grip enough. Ive narrowed my selections down to 4 sets:
1. Bridgestone Potenza S-O3 Pole Position
2. Yokohama Parada
3. Dunlop SP Sport 9000
4. Toyo Proxes T1-S
If you have any other suggestions Ill be glad to take them into consideration. http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif
parada, any tire you pick, go to the tire rack website, print out the quote and take it to a sears, they will match that price plus they absorb the shipping
I also picked the KUMHOs, 100 a tire, can't go wrong. My friend just got a new set on his M3, they are so quiet and grippy. I highly recommend them.

What size tire and wheel do you have now?
And what size tire are you planning on getting?
I just slapped a set of 225/50-16 Dunlop SP8000's on my Jetta's stock wheels and the handling improvement is huge !
Re: Any Opinions On What Tires To Get???? (Phishy)
I have Kumhos on my Beretta which has the base suspension, the car leans like hell, but I can run circles around Z26s, most Civics, and a lot of other cars. I do wear them out a lot though. I am on my 3rd set.

Please research how the tires last, sound at speed, rate in weather (esp. rain), and relate it all to "your world".
Please PLEASE don't let your tire search be solely on price. Skimping on the 4 things that keep the car on the road is a bad idea.

First set I got about 18K miles out of them, 2nd set i got close to 24K. I am very hard on tires... I have a nice handling car and find any excuse to drive a winding back road at double the posted limit. I can remember a trip to Dale Hollow Lake in Tennessee last year, my friend was whoopin my ass in his 99 GMC Sierra SLT twoing his Jetski, which weighs close to 400 pounds, and I was towing my 685 pound monster plus a lot of crap in the car, I was workin my 155 horses good. Well after we dropped the crap off I took him down a twsity road (rated in one of AAAs 10 best roads in the us) route 61(?), with a limit of 35 and passed 85 on one stretch and lifted the inside wheel off of the ground, I had him grabbin the pu$$y handle and screaming OH poop for like 1 minute straight.
