Any problems with cutting stock valance?

351 Views 5 Replies 4 Participants Last post by  sniper27
I want to cut the stock valance for my Remus tips. I went to a muffler shop and they told me that if i did that, the rest of the valance, especially the middle part, will get weak and start to hang down and warp from the heat and stuff. Is that true? I've seen people do this, and are there any problems?
Thanks

hey Francis,
i cut my stock valence.. and there is no problem.....
the only problem is that you need to bring it to a place that knows what they are doing......if not they will screw it up.......
