i was considering NOS and i talked to chad at eurotech atlanta and he said that i would be safe running a 90 shot but to go with 75 just i case since after all there is no warrenty. but instead of getting the juice i decided to throw down a couple more big big bills and get a turbo system from matrix engineering. it is being released in less than a month and thats when i will be getting mine.
What are you getting? Stage I, II or III? I think you are heading for the right direction!!
I will be getting Stage III next spring. Hope I can save enough by then.
When properly setup, nitrous is the biggest "bang-for-the-buck" mod.
With the extra money ill save instead of buying a turbo kit, ima get a Peloquin LSD, Autotech clutch and flywheel, and a 3.94 r&p.
We can race... if u want
Ronny I ordered a 50 shot WET this week. I'll get it next week and let you know. Since you and I both have a GIAC you'll be happy to know I found a solution to our advanced timing. MSD Ignition part # 8970. This will allow you to retard your timing when you spray. When Manny gets out here I'll take him for a ride and he can give you a first hand experience.

If you've got the $$$, turbos or sc's are "always on", no need to refill the bottle or have power in short bursts only. But you're right about bang for the buck!
True, turbos in about 5 years will save you money. Due to the cost to refill, about $35 in my area.
I_Fly - You shouldnt be too worried about running your chip and 50hp of nitrous. I talked to the guys @ Zex (Matt as a matter of fact) and he told me its not wise to advance the timing @ all when on the bottle. But... your advancing is only a few degrees. Of course im not totally sure, and retarding overall will be a better choice. I dont even have a chip in my VR but i will be testing on the 34 block (am i right, 34 for a/f ratios?!?) and on the Dyno. I plan to run 55 @ first, but i will end up @ 75 in the end.
I will be sure i keep every1 updated on it. Next Monday or Tuesday, is when my Jetta will reign terror on those low-IQed V8 guys.
I've got VR6 75 shots, go for the turbo!!!!! I only get 2-3 min of fun with a 75shot tank. $60cdn to fill each time. It's kinda scary when you use it too. Don't want to push too hard. I say go with super charger or Turbo
