Re: anybody have problems with their Jetta??? (DaJuiceizLose)

But of course Jettas are good . . . thery're VWs!!

seriously my 1.8t has been great and I haven't heard anything bad about the 2K VR6s except it is only 12v. The one problem I had with my front right wheel bearing was fixed under warranty. Over 50,000 miles in a year and a half and it drives almost like new, except for the mods of course.

I have a 1999 GLS VR6 and I have had one problem about every 2-3 months since I bought the car. Luckily about 90% has been covered by warranty but it is a pain in the you-know-what to have to take it in all the time, I mean the rental car people know me by first name now!

Forgive my ignorance, but what is that thing hanging out the front of the hood? It looks like a neon light.

Neons are fun!
I hope you weren't hurt!!!!

Personally I want to turn my airbags off, I feel safe enough with a seat belt. Though airbags are a good idea you have to accept the good with the bad. Has anyone ever seen what a person wearing glasses (perscription or even just sun glasses) looks like after they have been punched in the head by an air bag? I am trying NOT to remember the image . . . if I could find it I would post it . . . or maybe not.
