Just curious as to what it's gonna' cost.
A cat let itself in my GTI via the open sunroof. I guess he freaked out and clawed the sh*t out of the interior to get back out. He got one leather headrest, sunroof crank cover and the headliner. A$$hole cat!

I know for my 2000 Celica, the headliner was 500 bux, simliar material for this car..

I left 2 glow sticks in the visors overnight, got up to 110 degrees F in my car, they exploded, leaked, destroyed headliner/visors. It's not cheap, but you might be able to get that covered under your insurrance

I would try a local upholestry shop, they could do it for you, and if you were looking to do something like the 25th headliner, it would be the way to go. I was thinking about this before, but i just haven't made it to the upholestry shop yet to ask about the cost of labor and materials.
I still don't understand why car companies use light colors for the headliner of cars. That is one of my favorite "details" i noticed when i got in a S$ avan at the local audi dealer, black headliner. I have a black/black car, and this drives me crazy. the whole car is black, but the headliner is off-white.

Why?

because the manufacturer want to reduce cost so they don't have to produce two different set of headliner for dark and light color. oh well..

Personally, I feel that the lighter headliner gives the illusion of more headroom which is prolly important to the normal consumer. Black headliners are really good looking tho. http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

Because some focus group liked light colored headliners.
