Sure do, I've got a cottage over there so I can be seen almost every night on the strip, mostly to laugh at all the rice mobiles with huge fins. I don't have a dub yet, but will soon

I'm up there from time to time. Don't do a lot of cruizin though. I'm kind of paranoid because I got busted for possesion of marijuana up there three years ago. I got pulled over for having my stereo too loud. I would love to meet up with some vw's this year.

ouch, yea the cops in g haven are ridiculous. soo many people get busted, there's always someone getting searched right across from the angle parking.

Yeah i cruz out there all the time but this year mike you should bring your jetta out there more. The drive back to GR is allways the most fun of the whole night. That guy with the white jetta with the huge wing on the back mike and I talked to. Not sure if he was on the tex or not. There are always a few dubs out there but we need to get a GTG at the state park or somthin like that it would be so cool.

honestly, i don't blame them for being as harsh as they are. they need to be because of all the kids that come on those friday and saturday nights. one time i got pulled over on the strip for making an illegal turn on a saturday july night right after i got my license. when i told him i was a grand haven resident and had a cottage there, he let me off with a warning. the simple solution to not getting caught with drugs is don't have them at all. with the abundance of police on duty on the strip every night, you'd think people would think twice about bringing them there

i would definitely be interested in getting together. i am down there the entire month of june and july for the most part but am between grand rapids and grand haven all the time. by that time, i hope to have my 24v gti which i am just about to slap a deposit down on

Cool, didn't know there was a dub scene in Holland. There is a pretty good import shop in Holland, isn't there? Or is that mainly Japanese? My friend with a Civic goes down there frequently to pick up new parts.

I have a blue jetta by the time cruising starts I'll have s3 wheels and exhaust and of course vortex stickers http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif,gti2001 goes there a lot too, he just got his dub this fall so he hasn't been around there with it and addman36 might be getting a 24v GTI. We need to set up a GTG.
The cops there do suck, but even though Ive done just about every illegal thing there, oinked at cops, illegal turns, thrown stuff, sped, carried fire illegal works, you know the ussual.....I haven't been caught.

Whoa, I would definitely like to meet you guys sometime. I have a cottage about 5 miles down Lakeshore Drive in the Wilderness (gated community you'll see it if you drive south on Lakeshore about 5 miles). Perhaps you've seen my car before? Red 1991 Landcruiser with brushguards, tinted out? http://members.sounddomain.com/statik It was cold a lot at night this past summer so it kinda made the nights a little dull on the strip. I'm planning on getting a 24V GTI, just gotta get in and slap down a $500 deposit. Last year i remember going to G haven and when we just got on the strip there was a dad and his kid in a GTI 2.0 belive he seemed like a really cool dad by looking at my car and just smiling and waving. Wish my dad was like that.. Heres some pics from Grand Haven State park parking lot

Yes, a gtg would be great in GH this summer. I stay down at the state park during the coast guard festival, but I live here in Muskegon, so GH is only 10 minutes away max. Lets get some dubs down there and cruise or whatever http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

iam addman36 (who boraman717 was talking about)....new sn... a GH gtg sounds like a plain iam deffently all for it...its nice to see that there are vortexers in this area it seemed like this town was a grand am mecca for a wile lets end that era forever and never speek of it again
