I have side exit exhuast on my rabbit, I used a cherry bomb muffler (glass pack) that mounted right after the shifter, i bought the piping / muffler and exhuast hanger for about $50, 2 pieces of straight pipe and a 45 degree bend that I adjusted to about 60 degrees. I havent taken any pictures yet and dont know how to post anyway maby ill get some tomarro, i still havent cut the tip to size so it sticks out about a foot. I routed the exhust out the driver side because the floor is more accepting and the fuel pump/lines would be a little to close for cumfort. at idle its sounds pretty good and when you rev it up it sounds like a bug with a stinger
it helps alot if you can get your hands on a welder for the new exhust hanger
P.S. I have a TT catless duel down pipe and welding the pipe to rout around the shifter is time consuming
