Re: Anyone from Vic. BC here? (aestheticculture)
I grew up in BC as a kid! Beautiful country out there, and unlike the US, the pedestrians have the right of way!! It was totally unbelievable how, on the main street from Richmond to Vancouver, traffic during rush hour would actually stop, completely, if someone was try to cross the road.
That would never happen here in Nebraska, unless it's in your own residential neighborhood, and it's a mom or some children. Being in Canada is like living in the 40's or 50's...everything is peaceful, friendly, and innocent. You never have to look over your shoulder! Surreal.
I digress. Anyhow, I don't recall exactly, but I'm almost sure there's a VW BC enthusiast club, and a place which used to be called Ron's Parts or RPI might be able to help point you in the right direction. They're well known for all the custom VW's they create. I think they're in Burnaby (?), but you'll have to double check.
Good luck, aye!
