I was there from 8:15-1. Lines were way too long, but it was a blast, can't beat the price!

i went form 11am till about 3 i didnt win anthing again this year but i did get wihin a second on the match time and i got 7 targets on the target hunt thing but i got a 48 seconds on the speed challenge
damn those mazdaspeed 6's are fast little buggers

·I went at like 12PM and did a lap in the RX8. Scared the sh*t out of the person riding with me

After that I left because the lines were reallllyyyy lonnnggggggg and everyone was bragging about how they were such good drivers

I was a little out of control in the MX-5, but felt way in control in the RX-8...I scared the crap out of some kid in the Miata though, gripping the armrest and the door handle heh.

Haha my friend was there and he spun one of the AWD Mazda 3s into the grass. (whatever model was in the time trial thing) I was SOOOO tempted to run for that, but the line was at least an hour.

hey smash i think i saw your car there yesterday were you parked all the way over like far away from the hanger
last year i did a nice little powerslide around one of the corners in the miata i kinda scared myself on that one
and i scared my passenger when we took out the mazdaspeed6 he was liek wow you only used the brakes once

Wasn't sure if there would be thieves lurking, you never know!

i think there were two spots on that course for brakes in the speed 6. That thing understeered like crazy! I spun it a bit to a stop around the big curve after understeering straight for the cones.
I think next year I (and i'm sure everyone else) will get there when it opens...I heard some people saying they got in 4 or 5 runs in an hour early in the morning...
I had a helluva time testing the cornering limits of those cars that I've never been in before. Makes me want to autocross so bad!

I wasn't that impressed with the car after doing that run, nor was I with the instructor/commentator guy... if you followed his guide around the course and braked and accellerated as he had it mapped out, you couldn't do better than a 45. I got there at 8:15 and only got a couple of laps in before they got ridiculously long, I think it has more to do with everyone hurrying to try to get there because it rained the next day out though.
Next year they better have the mazdaspeed 3, that's all I know.
