I travel a lot and I love the variety that XM provides (comedy channel is great for traffic jams)..Bought the Sony from Crutchfield and have a port in 3 cars...People always ask what is that wierd antenna on my roof...Reception is great except in heavily wooded areas or during a snow storm...Its great driving 200 miles and listening to the same station...By the way my favorite channel is Deep Tracks...No short playlist here....

I have the Pioneer and all I can say is http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif. Personally, I like The Flow... its an R&B station... The sound quality is excellent.
One thing I ran into when I installed the pioneer in my truck was that I had to adjust the source level adjustment on my deck becuase the outputs on the XM unit were low... (I wanted the volume on my cd player and the XM tuner to match) other than that, I had not problems... a very easy install.

Actually I had an input level problem with an aux input to a Kenwood CD Player and I got around it by installing a line amplifier with adjustable gains and once that was in no problem...I also installed one with a Nakamichi 45Z with 4v out and no problem with that....

I just ordered a Pioneer FM303XM that I get for free for working at a major electronics store.
I should get it later this week.
Does anyone have it? Where can I mount it in my mk3 Jetta?
What does the roof-mount antenna look like?

I was one of the first persons in the Miami, FL area to have it back in October and have loved it since. I dont listen to FM anymore. Just CH. 22, 80, 81, and all that good stuff...lol......I had it on my old jeep, and now in my new Passat.
