Anyone have info on the little gauge panel to the left of the radio?

I've seen this done before, I know Badass has it done and it looks hella sweet...I want to put any 2" gauge to the left of the radio where there is a little gap...Im curious to know if anyone has any specs on this like how they made it, what its made with etc. etc. I'm more concerned on how it stays in place...Any info at all would be great! Not sure what you're talking about... can you post some pics? Sounds like a cool mod.

I have what you're talking about on my car. Some precision use of a dremel and eliminating 1 of the cluster housing screws. The gauge sits in a recessed aluminum square and is retained by a collar that screw on the back of the gauge clamping it to the framing of the dash. I got some pics to email, but don't know how to post em.

those guages are great if you like dodging your steering wheel to see them..

Yeah, I kinda figured the wheel would sorta get in the way
I just need a place for one more gauge...I won't be constantly looking at it like a boost gauge or anything...IMO they just look neat, I dunno?

It depends on how big your steering wheel is. I have an oil pressure guage there.. and dont have to dodge anything to look at it..

I have the Oettinger panel and am using a VDO voltmeter in there. With a MOMO steering wheel I have no obstruction of view of it at all. http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

I made one for my car, I put my boost guage there, but I will be relocating it. The Oem steering wheel gets in the way.

BTW they're really easy to make.
