Re: Anyone have the rubber floor mats (YellowDieselGolf)

I have rubber mats. They are excellent. Especially if someone has wet feet. The carpet underneath looks brand new. But they don't look like those in the picture (their more stylish with a VW logo in the corner). I can take photos if you want.

Yup, have them, and love them.... but mine have worn out right under my right heel, and the left edge of my left foot...... no comments on how I drive thank you...

Wouldn't mind getting a new set of the fronts... do you know if they have them for the Passat?
btw, those ones in the pics are the "Monster mats" and the ones we can get here are the "premium mats" I believe....

I didnt know there were two types of rubber mats. I was hoping they wouldnt wear as quickly as the carpet ones.
I assume they'd have passat mats, but I'm only on the golf mailing list.

eekarumba puncho! Is that the in-dash stacker or the one that specifically fits in the upper left corner of the boot?

I should have added that it's a 10 stack, so it should be the boot mounted one.

The rubber mats are much better then the carpet mats IMHO. Although I've found that rubber mats tend to wear after a while, doesn't matter if you buy cheapies or really expensive ones, they all wear after a while. That said, I've found the OE VW rubber mats to be better then most in this regard, not as good as my old Cannon 4wd rubber mats which last 3 cars and 5 years!.

It would be the Europox thing that matches the headunit, as fitted to Holden, Nissan among others. Interestingly it doesn't actually fit the GLE/SE/Sport or GTIs with the LHR locker in the boot. We tried and found that we had to fit the base spec boot trim to fit the stacker. Although with the amount of trouble we had with the headunits and stackers, I would go aftermarket in a heartbeat.
