Need to get an 84 GTI idling before wife gives pass to buy.
Could someone with a haynes for an 84 rabbit crack it open and tell me what the timing should be for this car? Found one in a barn and want to try and get it started. Been sitting for 6 years. It turns over but sputters according to the owner. He knows cars and seems to think the kid that used to work on it messed it up. Any other tips on what to look for on this car to get it going would be greatly appreciated too!
