Anyone help (performance #'s on a 1997 neon)

A buddy of mine seems to think his old 1997 Neon Expresso
actually could do 1 G on the skid pad.
Now I have a really hard time beliving this. I have been searching everywhere to find out if this is true or not but no archives go back that far. If someone on here knows please tell me.

There is no way! I'm not sure anyone even bothered to do this test on a '97 Neon!
