Anyone in here run in the 1/8th?? I Wanna know how my times stack up

Where I live the closest track is a 1/8th mile drag strip and its 5 bucks race and/or watch, for 4 hours..... and well last year I started doing that, and I was just wondering what peoples times were. I have a 2.0L 95' golf 4 door. All I had done at the time was q-chip, abd quick flow with k & n filter, and techtonics exhaust, and really crappy tires.... I ran a 10.61 at 65.12 mph...... my 60 foot time was 2.31 I believe (my time slips are at friends house, but im pretty sure thats it)....... Anyway the track isnt open yet this year, and I was just wondering what everyone else runs, because I dont know if thats good or not..... im hoping now to be in the nines, after all ive done... but if anyone could just let me know how the ran, I would appreciate it.... [email protected] 1/8th and [email protected] 2.21 60' times. It was my best 60' time ever. http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif Spun a little on the start but didnt spin on the top of first or second. I usually run 9.9-10.0 @72-73mph (showing that i spin)

Should get that fixed with slicks

wow thats really fast!!! makes me think twice of considering my car kinda quick....... what all have u done to your car??? sounds nice.......

I have a stage 4 G60, but i dont think you were referring to me when you said fast

, im sure with stickier tires and some more practice i mad low 14s with my current setup.
my goal is to break 13s

I will post all my runs I have run the 1/8th like 15 times
First time drag racing
[email protected] 2.15 60ft and .83 reaction
[email protected] 2.20 60ft and .70 reaction
[email protected] 2.32 60 ft and .82 reaction
[email protected] .160 reaction and 2.36 60ft
Then I fixed my car
[email protected] 72.5mph 2.22 60ft .27 reaction
9.90 @72.15 mph 2.10 60ft 2.3260 ft
This is with a 2.0L swap 8v header no int no heat, solid mounts 2in ex
Now on top of all the other stuff I have a 2 1/4 cat back new clutch and Euroinfection I will soon be building a new motor for it and the motor right now is stock no cam or head work

Well Thankyou all for responding, I appreciate it..... yea hopefully ill be runing 9's soon...... thats my goal is to run 9.99999 not very fast but id be happy with that...... Anyways thanks again

I've run a 10.20 with my TDI, only mod is the Upsolute chip.
