hmmm, why would u want a lighted one? not my cup of tea, but wouldnt be that hard if u realy wanted to do it

I have a lit shift boot, not a knob though

haven't done it either. should be a piece of cake though - pull your boot off the bottom of the knob, unscrew the knob, screw on new knob.
the new knob though most likely won't have the same "ridge" that the OEM knob has - i don't know how you want to secure the boot to the knob, thats up to you.
it should be self-sufficient with its power though - maybe a watch battery?? i don't think any wiring would be involved, but, i could be mistaken.

theres a cord...im not sure what to tap into from power im pretty sure i need 12v
