I did use the search for any term I thought would be relevant. "trim" "moulding" "molding"-sic "shaved" "rub strip"
Any other suggestions?

There are 5 to 8 holes under each door rub strip! Take it to a bodyshop and get an estimate!

The holes come in several different sizes. The biggest being about 1". You end up painting the entire side if you want it to blend properly.
