My view is clear: the Maybach is a great concept (I love the idea of a hyper-luxury saloon) but the design of it is, well, tacky and cartoon-ish to put it kindly.

That is too big. Way bigger than any Bentley at Bently of Atlanta, which I drive past everyday too and fro' from work.
[edit] anyone else notice how the Maybach and the new Q45 look? I wonder if Infinity restyled teh Q too look like the Maybach, or it is coincidence.[/edit]

mmm maybach.. i'm drooling. heeheh.. maybach are actually supposed to be more of a limo than regular sedan. so yes it does look quite big but thats because its a limo. a shorter one and the long one but both limos. headlights are kind of weird.. but then if i got to drive i wouldnt care in the least bit

I like it alot. It has a retro look to it like the Bugatti Veyron. Its a modern version of the big limos of the 30s. Just look at the back seat

. It looks more comfortable than most living room recliners. I like the blue side paint the best out of the ones shown. The maroon and green ones dont looks so good though.

SO which badge are they gonna use?? the FUGLY "M" badge or the true mercedes sign. If they use the M badge maybe they got affected by the Japanese on their JDM car. If you know nothing about cars in japan, u can't tell which company made that car!!

I do wonder if the people responsible for this "Maybach" are even aware of what that marque means? Namely, a dignified hyper-luxury car which suprassed everything else in every way

Maybe Ford and GM could revive old names (Continental and Fleetwood, respectively) and build similar hyper-luxury cars. Not as tacky of course, but more affordable than the Maybach. I have ideas
