Recently picked up a used EM-4 unit for my mk1 1.8t swap. Having trouble finding any real info out there about the management. Is no one really using it anymore or is all a closely guarded secret?

It was good for the time but requires a specific magnet setup on the pulley to work. These days there are many better options that support the crank and cam sensors already there.

That's kind of unfortunate to hear. I'm not really stoked on getting my triggers all set up honestly.

I have done a ton of swaps on micro and ms3 pro if you want something a little more compatible.

I appreciate the offer. I think I might give the SDS a whirl (or at least the ol college try) and see what happens. Will report back (probably lol) if it all comes together!

My only advice is to follow the instructions for mounting the magnets *exactly* in the way that they say.
