While I was out in central PA this past weekend for the big show in Carlisle (lots of imports, a decent amount of dubz), I had a little emergency that had me in need of a quality shop with a lift. With a quick phone call to my friend who checked out the APR web site he found AP Tuning.
After a quick early morning call to Tom, he was able to slip me in that afternoon. Drove the car out and let it cool down. While it was coming down in temps so we could work on it, I checked out their facility. WOW! Cleanest I've seen in a while... you could EAT off the floor. Organized very well, a great tool selection, and lots of room. In their shop were 3-4 cars from a 1.8T Mk2 GTI to various other VW project cars. Awesome stuff....
Mark threw my car up on the lift and we took care of the issues I had. After 2 hours of working on the car (more talking really, probably 15mins work, 1hr 45min of swapping stories hehe!) I was back on my way. Mike also helped throw a wrench on the car and a few ideas too. While under the car they were thorough on all ends, checking all details even of non-related things. I'd trust these guys to do ANY sort of work.. they know their stuff and exhibited a high level of knowledge and workmanship.
Skills aside, these guys are just plain NICE to work with. Not only did they fit me in VERY last minute, they were extremely courteous and fun to talk to.... so if you are anywhere in the area of APT or ever need any work done by an APR shop... these guys are a good choice for you folks further east.... thanks to Mark/Tom/Mike for your help!!

Re: AP Tuning ... special thanks, and a little review!! (Shaka)

I had the opportunity to see your car this weekend Ari and I must say she is a beauty. I tried to find you so I could have a listen to your GHL exhaust (I'm considering ordering one from ECS) but you weren't around.
My fiancee actually considered buyingit. Your friend with the silver Prelude was speaking of you like you were a god.
Hehehh.. he had all your car's specs down to a T. I'm glad you decided to keep it. http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

Rockin' on the props to them. I was hoping for that "HELL" ride but it's all good it was late and all. Good to hear you iron'd out whatever was ailing the beast.
About the sound of the exhaust -- lets just say I love my TT exhaust but now I'll be ordering a 3" GHL with a custom hidden tip like my friend Ari.

You may want the exposed tip, its a bit quieter on the freeway.... I like mine but know a lot of ppl dont like the freeway noise the hidden tip gives. Yeah sorry no free ride but I was tired, the g/f was gunna be mad if I left her, etc etc.... dont worry I'll take ya for a spin May 31st in Columbus. See ya then...
Thanks again to the guys at APtuning... http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif
