You cannot see it, but on the "other" side are the two "bung" holes for the upstream and downstream O2 sensors. Anyhow... uhh... YES ... the downpipe includes a small "reducer" that is about 3 inches long that allows you to run the APR downpipe with the stock cat-back (or ANY aftermarket cat-back that is non-APR).
So, in answer to your questions, YES! Also, as you can see, the APR system, like the stock system, is one long downpipe that incorporates a higher flowing cat as well. The whole APR system works VERY nicely... cheers!

I'm going for a custom made stainless steel 3" downpipe without a cat.
Is there going to be any problems with the lambdas?
I mean, I install the 02 meters in the same "area" as they were before.. so then it shouldnt be a problem .. right?

You are going to get a check engine light (CEL) if you run without a cat... there is not yet a solution to this, but ECS Tuning is currently working on an O2 sensor fix for these applications. Stay tuned to his site.. cheers!Is there going to be any problems with the lambdas?
