Do authorized installers now have all the parts necessary to do the ECU upgrades for TSI engines?

Almost all do. Depends on the year of your ECU. Give the dealer a call and they will tell you.

The stage 2 flash is designed for a high flow exhaust system. We've changed several things to ensure faster spool up now that the exhaust has opened up and we are able to get a bit more power by running slightly more aggressively. Keep in mind now that restrictions are removed (restrictive exhaust), although I say it's 'more aggressive' it's still safe. We are simply allowed to push it harder now that EGT's will be lower from the get go.

Does it qualify for a tax credit? haha. I am dying to pull the trigger on this but also in full home buying mode to get under contract before April 30th! At some point I plan to GO APR!

Re: (Breezer23)

The ECU upgrade is very reliable. We do not take components deep outside of their specified operating conditions as set by the manufacturer. I'll even go as far as to say our stage 3 kits are just as reliable as well. I just had a customer post up his 1.8T with 250,000 miles of stage 3 on our facebook page. http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif
