I got a free set of snow tires, but they are 185/70/14
not 185/60/14
overall they dont look THAT much bigger, but I was wondering if they will work, or if I will have all sorts of problems with rubbing?

I ran tires on my Passat that were 10 aspect too tall. 205/60/15's, when I should've been running 205/50/15's. Granted the difference will be smaller on your 14's, but I think it should fit, as long as your car isn't dropped at all.
The 60's rubbed on my Passat with 4 people in the car when I hit bumps, but I was too ghetto to care. And it looked freaking ridiculous, but again, I was too ghetto to care.
Maybe you want to bring them to a tire shop and ask them, they might be willing to throw one on for you to check.
[edit]: The difference will be smaller, so it should fit without problems.

your speedometer and odometer will be inaccurate. you will rack up less miles, and you will be going faster than your speedometer leads you to believe.
Free is free, but don't screw up the balance of things. Your car won't like it.
