Are the "sport" springs offered by VW the same as the sport luxury package?

Are the Eibach springs offered by VW Driver Gear the same as the ones that come on with the sport luxury package? If not, how much do they lower the car? Anybody have any experience with them?

No, the Eibach springs are not included in the sports package. I don't remember exactly what is included in the sports package other than the larger wheels, but I'm sure it doesn't include those Eibach springs (unless the sports package has changed for 2002).

17" rims and tires, 8% (I think) stiffer shocks and struts, and a bigger anti-roll bar (I think 28mm)

I learned/found out that it would have been cheaper to not get it. I am going to buy aftermarket suspension+ wheels anyway. Didn't have much of a choice with the Wolfsburg package.
