[Big Dac With Fries]

Finally got my sticky fingers on a set for the Jetta.
And with what luck, Today's my birthday, it's like a bday present from the mailman!

I'm gonna hit 'em with a coat of nice and durable bedliner paint before they go on the car.

Real Deal here folks, none of the knock off stamp-cut ones.

I would have given you mine for free

but I cant because its covering up some sketchy body work from an attempted theft entry when the previous owner had it.

But when I get enough money to paint my car theyre going up as a freebie

I think they look kinda weird on a Jetta, unless you have a dark blue or black body color. I had a pair on my front doors, and I ended up taking them off.

Yeah I thought about that when I first saw them.
Then I realized they were just another Old School obsolete item I must have... even if I never install them, and they just sit there... right underneath my aluminum Momo pedals, Votex console, MK2 fogs, VDO gauges...

Besides being an old school part, how about the protection they provide? That is why I got mine. Of course, they don't do a whole lot of protecting sitting on a shelf.

I thought about it, and call me dumb, but I actually like the way they look in black on a silver car.
Everyone said the same thing when I put the decklid spoiler on, and I painted it flat black. I like the way the black breaks up the color.
If it's slow, chrome it. If it's fast, paint it black.
