Hey thanks. I was interrestd in that about 2 or three months ago but now I have another major mod in mind. I will be doing the 3.6 VR6 swap. I will have th emod done while I am in Iraq....hopefully. I hope to install a brand spanking new block in and then after several months, I will chip it and hope to be at 300 HP. That should leave me with 280 WHP! I have a lot of new projects in mind but this one will happen!

Hmmm sounds like a good deal.....
But I thought the turbos were making more power....and they were cheaper...I dont know, Just what I have seen. I think Bahn brenner makes the kit.

Yes turbos do make a lot of power but if I can do the 300HP n/a, I'd rather do that. A turbo kit will actually cost more. I dont have many choices. There are only two kits that are cheaper for the MKIV VR6 than a direct motor swap but they are in the USA and they dont make much power! So I would have to buy the kit and install it without any real support from the company. I almost bought the EIP stage 2 and then I saw a friend with this kit and very little support from EIP and he has only had headaches and much more money! The kit was installed by and authorized EIP dealer in Holland....and still very little support after they started having problems.

I have over 100,000 miles on the motor and if I add a turbo, the life will be shortened greatly. Also the smallest kit from HGP is about 7000 Euro with installation and I will only get 250 PS. The new motor will be a fresh start. I have looked at all kits for the VR6. They are all expensive.
