audi 5000 warm up regulator

who has one and who wants to get rid of it? or who can point me in the right direction to find one.

Do these really work? What kind of engine is it going into?
I heard that the biggest result is a loss of mpg.
This is the one with the vacuum line on it right? That taps into the intake?
