Our previous blog post about the A3's planned Geneva launch sighted an Auto Motor und Sport intel story relayed in English via Automobile. Based on intel gleaned from a conversation with Stefan Sielaff, the story casually mentioned some great detail about the upcoming facelifted Audi A4 in the very last paragraph. Subtly slipped into the A3 piece, we almost missed it. Here's a summary.
•*Facelift will include revised headlights and taillights utilizing LED technology.
•*Redesigned suspension & Electromechanical power steering system in order to improve fuel economy and aerodynamics
•*Euro market gets 170-hp 1.8 TFSI
4T Ed. Note
We've got some news of our own about the upcoming A4. Perhaps it's not so surprising, but the car's launch is imminent. Given Audi's preference for shows, we doubt the facelifted A4 will debut in L.A. at that auto show in three weeks but it likely will make its auto show debut by the North American International Auto Show in Detroit this coming January.
