Would I be able to swap all of the internals in my VW key into an Audi key? I searched, but didn't find an answer. Thanks guys, Nate.

there are two fobs for this time period. 3 button remote (with the trunk) and the 2 button remote (without the trunk key) make sure the one you get is obviously the 3 button one its the exact same remote on the inside. The VW shell is the exact same price on ebay as the Audi one. I found it in one minute. find it.
either one would be enough..
hm, so does the circuit board from the VW fob swap right into the 3 button audi one?
edit: sweet, i found an all plastic VW fob. (mine's leather)
