i dunno, i think it'd be kind of cool. That's what I've always loved about volkswagen AG, their parts are virtually interchangeable between audi and vw. with a VW you're getting audi quality at a VW price!!!! Look at the passat, it's basically an audi with different badges, the differences between them are few and far between ... and the 1.8T engine????? need i say more??? Personally, i wouldn't put the rings on my dub. Not because I don't think it would be cool, but just because I know i'd get sick and tired of the rice accusations and improper badging flames......
but hey, it's better than all the "honda integra's" and "toyota altezza's" I see on the roads. wait a sec, no it's not......
I don't think it's all that different from jetta guys who own a NA jetta and put vento badges on it. sure, maybe you've got euro bumpers and an euro switch and euro style or whatever, but it's still a jetta, right??
I say go for it man, be original, those rings would look bada$$ on a badgeless grill!!

badging your car as a Honda Integra is way different than BUYING a JDM Honda Integra. Badging it as a honda, cool. but the diufference is, there is no Audi Jetta, or Audi Vento, only VWs, so you'll look like an unknowledgable tool
