Audi tt antena but threads to big

i just bought a audi tt antena and the threads are to big. I know some of u have out there thats why i bought it. did u buy the base for it also?

I thought you had to get it re-threaded for it to work...won't screw on directly from the factory like the S2000 one will.

not as short as the TT -- do a search for it, I'm sure you'll come up with a zillion pics...
