I have a 1985 4000S Quattro, and I was wonder if anyone could clue me in as to what it will take to convert to a V8 particularly a 3.6 liter. I'm not sure if I need bell housing adapters. If so where could I get some and also where could I locate some engine mount adapters. Help would be GREATLY appreciated!

The 016 transmission bolts up the PT/v8. It's a pretty in depth swap, you should probably check out motorgeek.com, do a search for v8 swap. You should come up with plenty of info.
