On August 18th, we're going to hold a little cookout/BBQ at Miami Whitewater Park. The spot is called "High Plains." Here's a link to a map of it, there's a larger map on the page.

We will start around 12:00 p.m. and will continue until everyone leaves or the park closes, whichever comes first. The spot that is picked has a grille, sheltered area for eating, volleyball, and baseball fields. Most importantly, the parking lot will comfortably hold 70 cars. Since we've had over 50 cars at a few of our weekly meets, it's safe to say that we'll need those parking spaces.
All that we ask? If you want to come, email me at
[email protected] and let me know you're going to attend and what you'll be bringing. Here's what we need:
-Chips, snacks
-Plasticware, napkins, paperplates and cups
-Hamburger meat, hot dogs
-Hamburger/hotdog buns
-Condiments, cheese
-2 liters/ice
**Also, if you want to bring beer, you're more than welcome too. However, the park will not allow us to provide it for others.**
I'll be bringing a cooler with (2) 2 liters, some hamburger meat, some hamburger buns, and a few Heinikens. If you want to bring something like potato salad, baked beans, or whatever, bring that as well!
I'll be holding a list of everyone who R.S.V.P.s and what they're bringing, I'll post it and edit it every now and then.
