I wanted to post a message here to remind everyone of the GTG that will be happening next Saturday. This will be at Rudy's BBQ north location. One of the guys that normally puts this together told me how he was disappointed that we had managed to get together Saturday nights, but not for their groups. Let’s show him some love.
You have no excuses either. They will be there noon-3, so it’s not past your bedtime. It’s not a bar, so you don't have to be over 21. Its Saturday, so work or school is not a valid excuse.
Lets make this the biggest VW get together in Austin's history.

Re: Rudy's BBQ (vertigo-)

They are always looking for new people (as long as they have or at least like VWs). I will warn you that if you hang around with these guys too much they will have you thinking about all kinds of mods. It is just a really great group for a casual get together.

Re: Austin GTG Saturday Feb. 16 (Brown E)

Sorry about that guys. I have been a bad member of that group myself and haven't made it out in a while. The new meeting up point looks to be Bone Daddy's. It is just across the highway so there isn't much of a change as far as where to go.

DAMN!!!!!!!!
Sounds like this is going to be a good one...Too bad my band is playing an early show in San Antonio that day, and we have stuff to take care of beforehand...
Lots of Mk4s, though, huh?

Re: Austin GTG Saturday Feb. 16 (idale)

I just wanted to say thanks to everyone that showed up this weekend. It was a huge success with close to 35 people and nearly 30 cars. We turned the Bone Daddies parking lot into a VW dealership including 6 silver MkIV GTIs side by side.
Special thanks to the Dallas crew for coming down with 8 or so cars. We will have to plan something in the future up in Dallas sometime.
