When you pull the key out of the ignition (2002 Passat), how do you program it to unlock the doors?
I've heard of the dealer doing this service, but short of the inconvenience of all that, can someone here tell me how to program my car to do this?
I imagine that it involves cycling the key a few times to get to program mode...
Any help?

You need a VAG-com to do it. The dealer can do it with theirs or you can find someone with one to do it.
